Mepco Installs 452 Km HT Lines For System Upgradation

Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) installed 452 kilometre high tension (HT) lines for upgradation of the system and provision of electricity with best voltage during the current fiscal year 2017-18
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Dec, 2017 ) :Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) installed 452 kilometre high tension (HT) lines for upgradation of the system and provision of electricity with best voltage during the current fiscal year 2017-18.
According to a mepco sources, it is top priority of mepco to provide early new connections and electricity with best voltage to consumers. The administration has installed 452 km high tension lines for the upgradation of system and total length of the HT line reached to 73,351 km in the region.
The Mepco administration had also installed 216 km low tension (LT) line during the current fiscal year and total length of LT lines reached to 47,940 km.
From July 2017 to November 2017, 37 km HT and 38 km LT lines were laid at Multan circle, 33 m HT and 16 km LT line in DG Khan circle, 47 km HT and 32 km LT lines in Vehari, 67 km HT and 63 km LT lines in Bahawalpur, 80 km HT and 11 km LT lines in Sahiwal, 26 km HT and five km LT lines in Rahim Yar Khan, 19 km HT and six km LT lines in Muzaffargarh, 75 km HT and 40 km LT lines in Bahawalnager while 66 km HT lines had been installed at Khanewal circle, Mepco sources added.
