MOU Signed To Train Person With Disabilities

The Ministry of Human Rights and UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to conduct the training workshops for the rights and protection of people with disabilities

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jan, 2019 ) :The Ministry of Human Rights and UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to conduct the training workshops for the rights and protection of people with disabilities.

An official of Ministry of Human Rights said this while talking to APP here on Wednesday.

He said that it was decided that the ministry would arrange workshops at Federal level as AJK and Gilgit Baltistan has already been working on the persons with disabilities.

The Ministry will review the progress of human rights for the National Action plan also.

He said that the ministry prepared the data of Public Works Departments (PWDs) and asked to sharethe update information and implementation of right's of the persons with disabilities.

He also urged the political parties to encourage the persons with disabilities for their rights.
