New Ticket Rates Of 'Sightseeing Lahore Bus Service' From Nov 1

Ticket rates of "Sightseeing Lahore Bus Service" has been increased and will become effective from the start of next month (November 1).
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2018 ) :Ticket rates of "Sightseeing Lahore Bus Service" has been increased and will become effective from the start of next month (November 1).
According to the sources of Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) on Thursday, the decision for increase in the ticket rates was made after approval from the TDCP Managing Director (MD).
Existing and new rate details for route from (Gaddafi Stadium to Greater Iqbal Park and back) is as under: For general public, existing rate has been increased from Rs 200 to Rs 300; for students, from Rs 100 to Rs 150. The trips are free for children up to 10 years of age currently, but under the revised rates, children only under five years of age would have the facility. However, the service would remain free for the disabled persons and senior citizens.
Existing charges for corporate sector full trip is Rs 15,000, which would be Rs 20,000 under the new rate and at present educational institution full trip is charged Rs 5,000, which would be Rs 7,500 as per new rate.
The existing and new rates detail for route from Gaddafi Stadium to Wagah border & back are as under:- For general public, existing rates are Rs 300, as per new rate it would be Rs 400, for students existing rates are Rs 150 and new rate would be Rs 200; at present it is free for children up to 10 years of age, and as per revised rates the bus service would be free for children up to five years of age, the service would remain free for disabled person and senior citizens, existing charges for corporate sector full trip is Rs 20,000 which would be Rs 25,000 under new rate and at present educational institution full trip is charged Rs 7,500 which would be Rs 10,000 as per new rate.
