Nullah breach inundates 40 villages in Pasrur

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) : As many as 40 villages of Pasrur tehsil were inundated due to a breach in protective dyke at Nullah Dek, near village Dariya Nangal here. According to the Assistant Commissioner Zaheer Liaqat, various seasonal crops including paddy and fodder standing on hundreds of acres of land were badly affected.

Zaheer Liaqat said relief activities were under way in the affected villages.

He said that three flood relief centres had been established in Pasrur tehsil for the affectees.
