Over 5000 Children To Be Administered Anti- Polio Drops In Upcoming Drive

SUKKUR,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -25th Augst,2016) : Deputy Commissioner, Khairpur, Fayaz Hussain Abbasi Thursday said that anti-polio drops would be administered to 5507 children during a four-day campaign which would start from August 29 and continue till September 1.
While presiding over a meeting at his office, he urged parents to cooperate with polio teams and must administer anti-polio drops to their children during the drive and said that the achievement of 100 per cent polio vaccination target in all union councils of the Khairpur district will be ensured. The DC Khairpur said that polio vaccination teams need to work with dedication for the success of campaign.
He warned that strict action would be taken against negligent officials. The representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF, health department officials, and town health officials attended the meeting.
