Prices Of Fruits, Vegetables Remain Stable In Posh Markets

ISLAMABAD, Feb 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Feb, 2017 ) : Prices of fruits and vegetables overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items here at Kohsar Market, Super Market and Jinnah Super Market.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee's price list issued here Thursday, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major difference from the price list of the previous week. According to price list, potato sold at Rs 29 per kilogram, Onion Rs 34, Tomato Rs 35, Ginger Rs 120, Garlic (China) Rs 300, Garlic Local Rs 375, Lemon Rs 60, Pumpkin Rs 60, Brinjal Rs 60, Peas Rs 50, Fresh-Bean Rs 70, Tinda Walaiti (Imported gourd small) Rs 45, Cucumber Rs 34, Capsicum Rs 90/60, Green Chilli Rs 60, Cauliflower Rs 32/24, Cabbage Rs 34, Bitter Gourd Rs 115, Green Zucchini Rs 90, Spinach Rs 16/12, Raddish Rs 16/13, Turnip Rs 29, Yam Rs 70, Maroo Rs 35, Carrot Rs 30, Chicken Rs 117 and Egg per dozen Rs 120.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 130/96, Apple Golden Rs 85/60, Apple White Rs 90/65, Apple China Rs 160/130, Banana Pak Rs 90/50, Guava 80/55, Pomegranate Rs 185/155, Musumi Rs 135/105, Shakri Rs 145/125, Kino Rs 70/50, Fruiter Rs 105/60, Pear China Rs 160/130, Red Blood Orange Rs 125/105.
People are asked to ensure that they are sold vegetables and fruits as per rate list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
