DI KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Nov, 2016 ) : Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUIF) chief, Maulana Fazlur Rahman said Wednesday that pivoting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to Thanksgiving Day was an unexpected change and the party should instead have to celebrate repentance day on flopped protest-show.
Addressing a press conference here at his residence the JUI-F chief said masses had strongly rejected politics of the PTI that failed to attract even three thousand people to the protest, adding that no rally from Sindh or Punjab had arrived to participate in the protest of the PTI and the party was totally depending on Khyber Pakhtunkwa.
Referring to Pana Leaks, he said if there was no legal and constitutional obstacle about the petition on Panama Leaks then his party had no objection on making it maintainable one by the court.
He said that it was our own country and there was a need to remain and act within domain of law. He said it was moral victory of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who did not raise point about non-maintainability of the petition in the court of law regarding Panama Leaks.
Fazl said the petitioner was openly saying that the petition was set for hearing under pressure tactics, protests and rally of the PTI, adding it would put a question mark on the Apex Court and its’ decision.
While Referring to statements of Chief Minister KP Pervez Khattak during protests regarding people of Punjab and Pashtun, he said the statement was conflicting to the constitution and fall under treason, adding Khattak did not deserve to become chief minister.
