The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday rejected the petition filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) seeking cancellation of the bail of accused former Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) Quetta in a forgery case
Former ETO Ulfat Nasim was accused of registering non-custom paid vehicles on fake documents.
The CJP observed that exercising maximum care must for the officers. "We also exercise care too while sitting here. Irregularity (in vehicles' registration) cannot take place without involvement of a registration officer."He remarked that an unprecedented business of vehicles was being carried out in Balochistan. When the operation was underway in the province then a chit was given to the owners of vehicles to run freely.
