
Two Killed, 42 Injured In Rain Related Incidents

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Augst,2016) : At least two people were killed while 42 others sustained injuries in different rain-related incidents in Bannu today (Wednesday). The injured have been shifted to the hospitals after which the local administration has pulled its socks up to control the situation.
Heavy rain with thunderstorm has badly disrupted daily routine of the people whereas gusty winds uprooted the trees and sign boards in different areas, a Private news channel reported. The low-lying areas have also been drenched in the downpour however, the electricity system was also got affected by the heavy rain in Bannu. On the other hand, people are facing difficulties in transportation as land sliding blocked roads in Abbottabad.
Several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have also witnessed heavy rainfall after which the water level in the rivers has risen to an alarming condition.
