UoS Students Get 7 Positions In Literary Competitions

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Mar, 2023 ) :Students of the University of Sargodha (UoS) have secured seven positions in the literary competitions.
According to a press release, issued by the university, the 8th Lyallpur Literary competition was held at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, in which teams of Sargodha University performed prominently and won distinguished positions in the competitions of Qirat, Naat, urdu Ghazal, Punjabi poem, Urdu poem, Urdu Mushaira and Bait Bazi.
According to the results, Hasan Sher of Department of Communication got the first position in Qirat competition, Muzamil Inam of the Department of Islamiat in Naat, Asham Sial of Law Department in Urdu Ghazal, Syeda Mehreen Fatima of Chemistry Department secured the first position in Punjabi poem, Osama Mir of the Law College in Urdu poem competition and Umar Ahmar of Mathematics Department got the first position in Urdu Mushaira, while Asham Sial of Law College and Umar Ahmar of Mathematics Department got the third position in Bait Bazi competition.
UoS Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaiser Abbas met the students, who got the positions, and congratulated them. He expressed the hope that the students would get more titles for the Sargodha University in curricular and co-curricular activities in future as well.
Director Riaz Shaad Co-curricular Forum Dr Munir Ahmed Gujjar, Assistant Registrar Co-curricular Forum Daim Iqbal and Coordinator Syed Ghalib Shah were also present.
