Writer Anees Shah Jilani Passes Away

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jun, 2017 ) : Renowned writer, intellectual and researcher, Syed Anees Shah Jilani has passed away in Sadiqabad area of Rahimyar Khan district. He was also founder of Mubarak urdu library, having more than 26,000 books on different topics and subjects.
Eighty-year-old, Syed Anees Shah Jilani was suffering from backbone's severe pain for last three years.
Thousands of people offered his Namaz-e-Janaza in his native area of Mohammadabad, tehsil Sadiqabad.
Jilani was a competent researcher and was taken as an authority on Seraiki language literature. He also wrote books and write ups in Urdu language. Books written by him include Safar Maqboza Hindustan, Aadmi Ghanimat Hai, Nawazish Namey, Aadmi Aadmi Antar, Kaghzi Perehan, Khitay Deedam, Mahandra Dekhans, Deewan Hairat Shamlvi and Maasareen Mubarak.
