PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jan, 2018 ) :Central Secretary General ANP Mian Iftikhar Hussain Thursday expressed the need for stopping the growing trend of violence in the society, and said the youth could play a key role in that regard.
The philosophy of Non-Violence of Baacha Khan is in-fact the savior of the new generation, he said while addressing various rallies in district Nowshera, ahead of death anniversaries of Baacha Khan and Khan Abdul Wali Khan.
ANP is the only party that always fought for the survival and rights of the Pukhtoons and would continue its struggle in future as well. We always fought for the promotion of democracy. Khan Abdul Wali Khan was the real champion of democracy in the country.
Conspiracies against democracy would not succeed he added.
He appealed to the party workers to ensure their participation in the death anniversaries rallies of Baacha Khan and Khan Abdul Wali Khan on January 28.
Referring to recent incidents of violence against children, the ANP leader said that the provincials governments had failed to provide protection to them. The KP government was yet to take any action against the killers Asma in Mardan despite getting her the postmortem report.
There was no law in the province and people were feeling themselves unsecured. The people were now aware of the designs of the so-called champion of Change in the province. The people would vote for ANP in the coming general election in the province due to its better performance in the government from 2008-13.
