44th death anniversary of Ustad Amanat Ali Khan

The 44th death anniversary of renowned classical singer and musician Ustad Amanat Ali Khan will be observed on Tuesday.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Sep, 2018 ) :The 44th death anniversary of renowned classical singer and musician Ustad Amanat Ali Khan will be observed on Tuesday.

Amanat Ali Khan belonged to Patiyala family which had produced a number of musicians and singers.

He was born in 1922 in a village Sham Chorasi in India and died in Lahore at the age of 52.

During his life he sang scores of ghazals and songs among them many became very popular. Healso taught singing to a number of pupils.
