Indians go crazy as Ali Zafar lauds PM Imran’s speech

Ali Zafar asked people to listen to the speech with an open heart and hatred-free mind.

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th February, 2019) While the whole Pakistani nation came out in support of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s response to Indian allegations over Pulwama attack, singer cum actor Ali Zafar also lauded the speech.

Taking to Twitter, Ali Zafar said, “What a speech! @ImranKhanPTI”

In another tweet, he asked people to listen to the speech with an open heart and hatred-free mind.

“Listen with an open heart and mind devoid of ego, bias or hatred. If can’t, listen again after a few days in a moment of peace.#love #peace # #humanity #togetherness above all,” he wrote.

This however did not go well with the Indian followers who launched a tirade against the Pakistani star for supporting his nation’s stance. They wanted him to never work in India again.

Here are some of the ‘filtered’ replies by Indians.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday responded to the Indian allegations of Pakistan being behind the Pulwama attack in Kashmir in a televised speech.

In what is being termed as a concise and bold speech, praises are coming in from political circles over Imran Khan’s pacifist approach.

The speech not only highlighted Indian atrocities in Kashmir but also asked them to do introspection instead of getting into a blame game with Pakistan.

Even the critics of Imran Khan and opposition leaders lauded the speech of the prime minister.

Along with that, Twitterati was also all praise for PM Imran with people calling him a true statesman.

Meanwhile, India had banned Pakistani artists from working across the border as tensions continue to soar between the two neighbours.

The announcement was made by All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) that put a blanket ban on Pakistani artists in India.

The Pak-India tensions have again intensified following Pulwama attack in Kashmir where at least 44 Indian paramilitary soldiers were killed.
