Islamabad Region Wins Match In National T-20 Cup

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -9th Sept,2016) : Islamabad Region won a match against Lahore Blues in second round Cool & Cool Present Jazz National T-20 Cup 2016 at the Multan cricket Stadium here on Friday.

Lahore Blues won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 119 runs for the loss of six wickets in fixed 20 overs. Naveed Yaseen scored 36 runs on 32 balls, Saad Nasim 32 and Nasir Jamshed 26.

Muhammad Abass and Muhammad Irfan took two wickets each, Adil Amin and Abdul Rehman took one wicket each. Islamabad team chased the target in 19.1 overs by loosing five wickets with tremendous performance of Abid Ali 46 runs on 41 balls with three fours and one six.

Afaq Raheem added 41 runs in the total. Ahmad Bashir, Imran Ali, Raza Ali Dar and Ahmad Shahzad took one wicket each. Abid Ali was declared man of the match.
