Sports Activities Prerequisite For Good Health: Vice Chancellor, University Of Agriculture Faisalabad

Vice Chancellor, University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Dr Zafar Iqbal Randhawa has said that physical and sports activities are prerequisite for good health and such activities must be promoted among people.
He was addressing the concluding session of Inter Hostel Sports Gala Women arranged by Hall Warden Office here Tuesday.
He said the University was introducing two credit hours sports course as minor in the degree programmes aimed at promoting sports activities.
He said that in past decades, playgrounds were full of players and now they were presenting a deserted look.
He said that sports were equally important not only for keeping oneself physical fit but also for a healthy mind.
He said that if a person is not physically fit, how can be good in studies as well.
He said that UAF was making all out efforts to promote sport activities among the students.
As per results, in Badminton competitions, Fatima-tu-Zahra hostel got the first position while Afzal Hall stood second and Kahkashah Hall third.
In Table Tennis, Fatima-tu-Zahra got the first while Afzal Hall stood second.
In Basket Ball, Afzal Hall got the first whileFatima-tu-Zahra secured the second position.
