600,000 saplings planted in district: Deputy Commissioner Muzaffargarh

Deputy Commissioner Qaisar Saleem said that more than 600,000 saplings had been planted in the district with the help of the forest department.

MUZAFFARGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Oct, 2018 ) :Deputy Commissioner Qaisar Saleem said that more than 600,000 saplings had been planted in the district with the help of the forest department.

Addressing a ceremony held here at Girls High school Khursheedabad in connection with "Clean and Green Pakistan Project" on Saturday, the deputy commissioner said that the district administration had decided to plant more than one million saplings in the district.

Qaisar Saleem stressed people to play role to keep the country clean and said that pollution could be controlled by planting maximum trees in the country.
