Cotton Crop Per Acre Yield Up By 2.4% This Year

073 million acre in 2017-18 which was 13.10 per cent above the 2016-17 figure of 4.486 million acres in Punjab.

Punjab produced 8,078,000 or over 8 million bales in 2017-18 compared to 6,978,000 or over 6.9 million bales in 2016-17, showing a 15.70 per cent increase. The spokesman also warned farmers of negative propaganda on social media and stated that it was misleading and meant to discourage cotton farmers.
