Plantation Drive Under GPP To Being Given Importance: KP Governor

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Shah Farman has said that as per vision of Prime Minister, the tree plantation campaign under Green Pakistan Project (GPP), was being given special importance to achieve its desired goals and objectives.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Oct, 2018 ) :Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Shah Farman has said that as per vision of Prime Minister, the tree plantation campaign under Green Pakistan Project (GPP), was being given special importance to achieve its desired goals and objectives.
He expressed these views at the inaugural ceremony of autumn season tree plantation campaign here on Friday. He said that almost 0.1 million olives and Moringa plants would be planted during the ongoing fall season. The Governor also planted sapling of olive at the Governor's House.
The Governor was also briefed in detail about tree plantation campaign.
He was told that National Bank of Pakistan would provide 0.1 million fruits bearing plants to the provincial agriculture and forest departments for plantation.
The ceremony among others was also attended by Provincial Minister for Forests, Ishtiaq Urmar, Deputy Speaker Provincial Assembly, Mahmood Jan, Provincial Advisor on education, Zia Ullah Bangash; Members National Assembly including Munir Khan Orakzai and Iqbal Afridi, President National Bank of Pakistan, Tariq Jameel and Regional Head of the bank, Mohtrama Saima Rahim.
