WWB To Plant 0.1m Saplings In Schools, Labour Colonies

Chairman, Workers Welfare Board (WWB), Khiyaam Hassan Khan has said that 0.1million saplings will be planted in Working Folks Grammar Schools and Labour Colonies under Clean and Green Pakistan Campaign to face the challenges of climate change
He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of formal launching of tree plantation in different Workers Folks Grammar Schools in Peshawar on Thursday.
Besides, Secretary, Workers Welfar Board, Dr. Mohammad Bilal, Director Finance, Taj Wali Said and Deputy Director, Mohammad Shoaib were also present on the occasion.
He was of the opinion that it is the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan to combat with environmental problems in better manner and for this purpose, the PTI government in its first stint in KP launched billion Tree Tsunami, which is still in progress and this time it had been given the name of clean and green Pakistan.
The campaign, he said is being appreciated at international level.
He directed the concerned authorities to ensure the plantation of more trees in their houses and fixed a target of 0.1million trees for Working Folks Grammar Schools and labour colonies, which would be achieved in all circumstances.
