Putin To Leave Istanbul For Sochi To Start Consultations With Defense Ministry - Peskov

Russian President Vladimir Putin will leave Istanbul for Sochi, where he will begin a series of consultations with the Russian Defense Ministry on the development of the Armed Forces and the defense industry sector, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th November, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin will leave Istanbul for Sochi, where he will begin a series of consultations with the Russian Defense Ministry on the development of the Armed Forces and the defense industry sector, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.
On Monday, Putin and Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan will discuss bilateral and international issues in Istanbul.
They are expected to also participate in the videoconference mode in the ceremony to complete the construction of the offshore section of the TurkStream gas pipeline.
"In the evening, as expected, the president will not return to Moscow, but will travel to Sochi, and another series will begin in Sochi, the fall series of meetings with the Defense Ministry leadership on military construction and development of the Armed Forces and Russia's defense industry sector," Peskov told reporters.
