Russia-Iran Trade Up 7.5% Year-on-Year To $1.56Bln In January-November - Customs Service

Trade between Russia and Iran between January and November 2018 amounted to $1.56 billion dollars, an increase of 7.5 percent year-on-year, the Russian Federal Customs Service said on Friday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th January, 2019) Trade between Russia and Iran between January and November 2018 amounted to $1.56 billion Dollars, an increase of 7.5 percent year-on-year, the Russian Federal Customs Service said on Friday.
According to the customs service's statistics, Russia's exports to Iran reached $1.09 billion, marking a 2.4 percent decrease compared to the same period of 2017, while imports of Iranian goods skyrocketed by 40.5 percent and hit $471.6 million.
Iran accounts only for 0.3 percent of Russia's trade with foreign states.
