400 New Classrooms Needed In 14 Colleges In Faisalabad

Various colleges in Faisalabad division are facing shortage of classrooms and students have to take classes in the open.
These government colleges include College of Science Samanabad, Municipal Degree College, Islamia College Sargodha Road, College for Women Karkhana Bazaar, Islamia College for Women Eidgah Road, Government College Jaranwala, Government College Sammundri, College for Women Sammundri, Postgraduate College Jhang, College for Women Jhang Sadar, College for Women Gojra, Government Postgraduate College Kamalia, Government College Toba Tek Singh and College for Women Toba Tek Singh.
When contacted on Saturday, a spokesman for education Department admitted shoratge of classrooms in these colleges.
He said that enrollment has increased due to commencement of new classes in these colleges.
Therefore, at least 400 new classrooms were needed to accommodate newly enrolled students, he added.
