Azad Jammu And Kashmir Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Launches Fresh Technical Courses

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Chief Zafar Nabi Butt said on Monday that AJK TEVTA has launched fresh technical courses to produce skilled manpower in line with the requirements of the modern age.
MIRPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2018 ) :Azad Jammu and Kashmir Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Chief Zafar Nabi Butt said on Monday that AJK TEVTA has launched fresh technical courses to produce skilled manpower in line with the requirements of the modern age.
He was talking to a delegation from European Union Technical Education & Vocational Training Program. Chairman TEVTA said persons enriched with technical education in various fields can earn more than non-technical.
Briefing the delegation, Chairman TEVTA said a large numbers of AJK nationals are settled in abroad and if these people are being equipped with technical training they can generate more income.
Zafar Nabi Butt said that AJK government was encouraging investment in technical education and has allocated funds in its annual Development Program.
"TEVTA granting training to 400 students in 25 trades, at present and this training would be extended to 25 more trades" he said. Team leader Education & Governance MS Anne Kotoed said that TEVTA has initiated technical courses based on modern needs and adopted innovation and hoped Technical Education sector would develop further.
She showed keen interest in working in AJK's education sector after achieving the no objection certificate from the authorities.
