KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jan, 2019 ) :board of Intermediate education Karachi here on Monday announced result of Intermediate Part-I Examination for regular candidates held April 2018.

BIE-K authorities attributing delay to administrative hitches said this may not in any affect the candidates preparing for their HEC Intermediate part-II examinations scheduled for April next.

As per details 39699 candidates, including 23234 boys and 16465 girls were registered for the examination and 383861 actually appeared in the same with 10803 (27.83%) declared pass in all seven papers.

Of 22669 boys to appear in these exams 4607 were declared pass all seven papers (20.36%), 2797 could clear six papers followed by 2556 candidates declared pass in five and 2371 four papers. results of 43 were withheld.

Of the 16192 girls appearing in the Intermediate - I (Regular) 6196 could clear all seven papers (38.27%);2760 of them were declared pass in six papers; 1979 in five papers and 1610 in four papers.

Results of two of the girl candidates were reported to be withheld for using unfair means during examination.
