BZU Vet Faculty Delegation Returns After Training From Thailand

A ten-member delegation of faculty of Veterinary Sciences Bahahuddin Zakariya University returned after attending a four-day training workshop in Thailand
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2018 ) :A ten-member delegation of faculty of Veterinary Sciences Bahahuddin Zakariya University returned after attending a four-day training workshop in Thailand.
Titled "Isolation Emerging infectious Pathogens during Disease Outbreak in Pakistan" the workshop was divided into seven modules. Every each module, an expert from University of Tenacy Thailand was selected.
The workshop was aimed at training the participants for diagnosis, symptoms outbreak and prevention of different diseases especially those related to wildlife, livestock and poultry.
Infectious diseases like Ebola and Bird flu were the prime focus of the training wherein the attendees were asked to conduct written exercises about these diseases besides information on preventive measures in case of outbreak of these infectious diseases.
Led by Dean faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Dr Masood Akhtar, the delegation consisted of Dr Irfan, Dr Awais,,Dr Raza Hameed, Dr Fehmida,Dr Amjad Ali, Dr Maqbool Shah and others.
