Advisor to Chief Minister Balochistan for education Haji Muhammad Khan Lehri Tuesday said that there was no space for incompetent teachers in the education department and government had prepared list of teachers who were getting salaries without performing their duties.

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2018 ) :Advisor to Chief Minister Balochistan for education Haji Muhammad Khan Lehri Tuesday said that there was no space for incompetent teachers in the education department and government had prepared list of teachers who were getting salaries without performing their duties.

He expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of a newly built Government middle school in Khudabakhsh Khosa area of Nasirabad district, constructed with a cost of Rs 5 millions.

He said that the education department was utilizing all available resources to make public schools operative for the provision of standard education.

He said that development of education sector in Balochistan was top priority of provincial government.

He said strenuous efforts were underway for ensuring standard education by overcoming the dearth of trained teachers.

The shortage of science teachers was a serious issue in the province, he added.

He said that without promoting education, the country could not achieve the goals of progress and prosperity adding to build a civilized society, the teachers had to play their due role.

"Our teachers are responsible in building a civilized and educated society, as they belonged to sacred profession and are educating our future generation," he said.

Lamenting over the plight of education in Balochistan, Lehri said, unfortunately, level of quality education was not satisfactory in remote areas.

Each member of society must play his role for making things better in the province, the minister urged.

He said that media could play a vital role in this regard.
