Three-day Annual 'National Book Fair' To Start From Tomorrow

A three-day National Book Fair 2019 organized by National Book Foundation (NBF), National History and Literary Heritage Division would start here at Pak-China friendship Centre from Friday
Annual National Book festival was being organized in connection with the National Book Day to be observed on April 22.
The Book Fair would be held in supervision of Federal Minister for education, and Professional Training, Shafqat Mahood, said a press release.
Renowned scholars, writers, literary figures, intellectual and artists will participate in the festival and share insights for promotion of book reading.
Senior officials of NBF said that arranging National Book Festival every year was an excellent tradition of the NBF which will be carried forward this year too with a rekindled spirit.
The 3-day activity will feature a number of literature friendly activities including launching ceremonies of books, literary sessions, dialogues and discussion programmes and special programmes for children.
Special literary sessions would be organized various topics including Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Pakistani languages, literature in promotion of national unity and linguistic harmony and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC): Educational and Cultural Connectivity.
A National level Mushaira would be organized during three-day literary sessions.
Over 180 book stalls by prominent book publishers from across the country would be set up in the book festival
