Arif Alvi Felicitates Minorities On "National Minority Day"

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Sindh Chapter MNA Arif Alvi congratulated the minority communities living in the Sindh province on "National Minority Day"
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2017 ) : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Sindh Chapter MNA Arif Alvi congratulated the minority communities living in the Sindh province on "National Minority Day" being observed here on Friday.
He said that the politics of the PTI was above ethnicity and sectarianism and its politics was for the country, said a statement issued here. He said that we had to determine to make the country in line with the thinking of father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah and vision of national poet Allama Iqbal.
Quoting father of the nation, he said that Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah addressing at the legislature on August 11, 1947 had said that there would be religious freedom, rule of law and facilities based on equality for the people in Pakistan.
Alvi said that minority communities had always played an important role in the development and prosperity of the country. They had rendered sacrifices for the country, he added.
