DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Oct, 2023) Gomal Medical College (GMC) Dean Dr Naseem Saba Wednesday underlined the need to create awareness among women and girls about breast cancer to control the disease.
She stated this while addressing a seminar organized here in a private college to create awareness about breast cancer which was attended by other doctors and a large number of students.
She said each student must have basic knowledge about her health as breast cancer was spreading rapidly in Pakistan. However, she added, the disease could be defeated through complete awareness and timely diagnosis.
She stressed the need to educate girls and women about health-related issues and raise awareness among them about the causes, symptoms, prevention and treatment of breast cancer on a constant basis for its complete eradication.
