LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 22nd April 2019) PML-N leader has decided not to take oath as Punjab Assembly MPA.
According to a local TV, the reports regarding former interior minister oath-taking were wrong.
Ch Nisar was not awarded the PML-N ticket and he had contested the election from two National Assembly and one provincial assembly constituency as an independent candidate. However, the veteran politician from Rawalpindi lost the polls from both NA seats but could only secure a PA seat.
After winning, Ch Nisar never turned to the Punjab Assembly even to take oath as an MPA.
The news, however, started circulating that he is going to take an oath and he might be the next chief minister of Punjab. And it was because news regarding the removal of current CM Usman Buzdar was also circulating.
Firdous Ashiq Awan, the newly appointed advisor to PM on information, on Monday rejected the news that Usman Buzdar was going to be removed.
A local tv also reported quoting sources that Ch Nisar is also not going to take oath in the near future.
