Child Dies, 12 Other Kids Among 18 Faint

RAJANPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jun, 2018 ) ::A four-year-old girl child died and eighteen others including twelve more children from a family fainted reportedly after drinking water from a newly dug well inside their home in Wah Bohar village in Dajal, near Muhammad-Pur in district Rajanpur.

Mehvish Bibi (4), daughter of Muhammad Saleem died on Wednesday morning while 18 other family members, mostly children, fainted, SP Investigation Zafar Khan Buzdar said.

The family had recently built the house while the well was dug only a few days ago. They started drinking water from Tuesday last.

Those fainted were rushed to Rural Health Centre Muhammad-Pur and thirteen of them including twelve children have been referred to DHQ hospital D.

According to doctors all are now fine and have regained consciousness.

Those under treatment included Noor Al-Mustafa (age 4/5 year), Sehrish bibi (8 month), M. Aqib (3 year) s/o of Muhammad Saleem, Nazir Ahmad s/o Hajji Rasool Bakhsh (50 year), Sharefaan Bibi w/o Nazir Ahmad (40/45), M. Saleem (25/26), Abdul Rauf (age 22/23), Jabbar (15/16), Sulman (12/13), Aqeel s/o Nazir Ahmad (5/6 year ), Fatima Bibi D/o Ramzan (12 years), Aqeela Bibi D/o M. Umar (6/7 year), Sehrish d/o M. Saleem (01 year), Zahida Bibi w/o Saleem (24 year), Hanifa D/o M. Akhtar (5 month), Arslan (2.5 year ), Sabeha (4 year) D/o M.Akhtar, and Hajjan Mai w/o M. Sulman (age 20 year).
