Civil, Military Leadership United To Root Out Terrorism: Musadik

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -7th Sept,2016) : Spokesman to the Prime Minister Musadik Malik has said civil and military leadership was united to root out terrorism and corruption from the country.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Chief of Army Staff had delivered a balanced speech on Defence day in which he gave clear message to the enemies of the country. He said Army Chief renewed the commitment that no compromise would be made on national integrity.
Musadik said National Action Plan (NAP) which was launched to expedite measures against terrorism and extremism was going on effectively in the country.
He said armed forces played pivotal role in implementation of NAP and rendered unprecedented sacrifices.
He said civil, military leadership and opposition parties were on same page to eliminate corruption. Continuity of the democratic process was vital to strengthen institutions in the country, he added.
A number of steps were being taken by the Federal government to combat terrorism and extremism, he said, adding, thousands of unregistered SIMs, CNICs and fake Passports were canceled in this regard. He said strict action was being taken against hate speeches and thousands were arrested on mis-use of loud speaker.
