DCO Orders Steps To Dipose Of Sacrificial Animals Waste

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -10th Sept,2016) : District Co-ordination Officer (DCO), Rana Akbar Hayat Saturday said that district administration is taking all possible measures for effective and efficient means of waste collection, transportation and disposal on the eve of Eid ul Adha.
DCO said for this purpose officials of tehsil municipal administrations have been deputed with special assignments including massive public awareness campaigns through electronic and print media.
While talking to media, Hayat said, Complaint cells have been established in all TMAs of the district at tehsil and district levels, while holidays of sanitation and supervisory staff have been cancelled on the eve of Eid ul Azha.
DCO said sanitary inspector and supervisor will be responsible for lifting/shifting of sacrificial animals waste to the designated collection points in their respective areas. TMAs have been directed to maintain close co-ordination with environment and livestock departments.
Administrators of tehsil municipal administrations will be the over all in-charge of the Eid ul Azha cleanliness plan and will be assisted by the concerned tehsil municipal officers. All the concerned officers and officials have been directed to submit report on daily basis to district co-ordination office.
