Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) To Be Celebrated On Wednesday

Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) will be celebrated on Wednesday with religious zeal and fervour in the provincial capital like other parts of the country.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2018 ) :Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) will be celebrated on Wednesday with religious zeal and fervour in the provincial capital like other parts of the country.

The day will dawn with 21-gun salute to pay homage to the last Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and special prayers will be offered in the mosques for peace, prosperity and development of the country.

Special conferences, events and mehfil-e-milad have been arranged to pay respect and tribute to the last messenger, whose life and teachings are beacon of light for the whole mankind.

Public and private buildings, mosques, shrines,streets, marketplaces,including homes have been beautifully decorated and illuminated with colourful lights and buntings.

The main Milad procession will be taken out from Railway station which after passing through its traditional route will culminate at Data Darbar. Prominent ulemas and scholars will highlight various aspects of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH).

Meanwhile,police have made special security arrangements for scheduled processions and rallies to be taken out by different religious organisations.

Radio Pakistan and other media houses will broadcast special programmes underlining different features of the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH).

A public holiday will be observed across the country and the day is being officially celebrated at the government level.
