Farmer Killed Over Old Enmity In Faisalabad

An aged farmer was shot dead over an old enmity in the area of Sadar Jaranwala police station
According to police, Anwar son of Faqeer resident of Chak No.649-GB was returning back home after performing prayer in a local mosque when his rivals Riaz and others opened indiscriminate firing at him.
As a result, Anwar received serious bullet injuries and died on the spot. The police took the body into custody and started investigation for arrest of the accused, who managed to escape from the scene after firing.
