Final List Under Process For Allotment Of Accommodations To Servants: Sajid Mehdi

ISLAMABAD, Feb 1 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 01st Feb, 2017 ) : Parliamentary Secretary for Housing and Works, Syed Sajid Mehdi Wednesday said the finalization of seniority lists for allotment of houses to government servants was under process of scrutiny.
Speaking in the National Assembly during question hours, he said that the process was time consuming which causing delay.
Replying to a question, he said the finance ministry was providing less funds than demand for renovation of governmnet accomodations.
Despite low funds, he said the ministry of housing was making efforts to renovate these houses. The construction plan of new houses for the governmnet servants was underway, he added. Replying to another question, he said that 5 percent deduction from the pay of accomodations' allottees had been transferred to finance ministry, therefore it could not be utilized for the renovation of the houses.
