Food Points Charged Rs 179,500 Fine Over Poor Hygienic Condition In Lahore

Food Safety Teams of the Punjab Food Authority during inspection of different food points in the city charged fine of Rs 179,500 due to poor hygienic condition.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Apr, 2018 ) :Food Safety Teams of the Punjab Food Authority during inspection of different food points in the city charged fine of Rs 179,500 due to poor hygienic condition.
According to a press release issued here on Thursday, the teams of the PFA also destroyed many ice and juice factories for having no license and using substandard material, violating food safety rules at Band Road and Thokar Niaz Baig.
The workers of these factories were also found working without medical fitness certificate. The PFA also issued warning to many food points owners to keep hygienic condition in their restaurants and food outlets otherwise stern action will be taken against them in form of cancellation of their licenses as well.
