Force Commander Northern Areas Visits Dareel, Receives Warm Welcome

Force Commander Northern Areas Major General Ihsan Mehmood Khan visited Dareel and met people including religious scholars and members of grand peace Jirga here on Tuesday.

ASTORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2018 ) :Force Commander Northern Areas Major General Ihsan Mehmood Khan visited Dareel and met people including religious scholars and members of grand peace Jirga here on Tuesday.

He was accorded warm welcome upon his arrival and called upon people to make joint efforts for ensuring religious harmony, brotherhood and peace in the society.

He said Pak army had rendered matchless sacrifices for the sake of peace and added it successfully flushed out mischievous elements with strong support of people of the area. He urged members of grand peace Jirga for playing proactive role in ensuring durable peace by extending cooperating in apprehending mischievous elements.

On the occasion, members of the Jirga including Haji Rehmat Khaliq and Maulana Esa Khan and others also assured their unflinching support to the Pak army in waging war against subversive elements.

Earlier, Force Commander Northern Areas Major General Ihsan Mehmood Khan was also taken round to various schools of the Dareel and mingled with students there.

He said that youth of Dareel were very talented and urged them to focus on their studies to earn a good name for their country and families, adding their problems would be resolved on priority basis.

He also visited those schools which were torched by terrorists Dareel and met people, adding concrete efforts would be made for promoting quality education in the area.
