Four Gangsters Held; Gold Ornaments And Valuables Recovered In Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2019 ) :Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police on Monday nabbed four gangsters and recovered gold ornaments, valuables and looted items from their possession.

A police spokesman said following special directions of Inspector General of Police Muhamamd Amir Zulfqar Khan, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations) Waqar Uddin Syed assigned special task to SP (Investigation) Syed Mustafa Tanveer to ensure arrest of those involved in criminal activities in various areas of Golra police station, a press release said.

He constituted special teams under supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) CIA Hakim Khan including ASIs Rana Tasneem, and others.

The teams arrested four criminals of two gangs including two women.

They used to barge into the houses after portraying themselves as house maids and commit dacoities at gun point.

They have been identified as Nazirain Bibi resident of district Faisalabad, Shahana Bibi resident of district Jarnwala, Maqbool Hussain resident of Jaranwala and Imran resident of District Faisalabad. Police recovered gold ornaments and looted items from their possession, Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation was underway from them.

DIG Islamabad Waqar Uddin Syed has appreciated the performance and directed all police officials for high vigilance and monitoring against those involved in anti-social activities.

He said that it is the collective responsibility of the every person of the society to remain alert against those involved in criminal activities in their surroundings and inform police for action against them.
