
Free Education For Hindu, Sikh Children In ETPB Institutes

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th july, 2016) : Free education will be provided to children of Hindu and Sikh community in the educational institutes of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB). This was disclosed by ETPB Chairman M Saddiqul Farooq after a meeting of the board while talking to the media here on Friday.
He said the board has requested the Federal government to make the board an autonomous institution. He said that director planning and development and director finance have given approval for Baba Guru Nanak University and Ghandhara University Texila.
He said approval for upgradation of offices and several development schemes had also given in the meeting. "Land for the monument of Baba Mardana has been allotted in front of the birth place of Baba Guru Nanak Sahib," he added.
