Govt Approves Over Rs700m For Up-gradation Of Bannu Airport

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Feb, 2018 ) :The federal government has approved over 700 million rupees for the up-gradation of Bannu airport project. Federal Minister for Housing and Works Akram Khan Durrani said that the government will provide every facility to the people of Bannu that will lead to the development and prosperity of the region, Radio Pakistan reported.

He said the approval of amount for the aforesaid airport will be a gift for the people and it will also facilitate the trade route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) by providing faster way of communication and transportation with the neighboring countries.

On the other hand, the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) also approved to release over 700 million for up gradation and extension of Bannu Airport for Airbus and Boeing aircraft operations.
