Govt To Provide Jobs On Merit: DC

MIRPURKHAS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : Deputy Commissioner Mirpurkhas Sayed Mehdi Ali Shah Friday said Sindh governmnet would provide jobs to the eligible and literate youth on merit and district recruitment committees have been constituted in all the districts for this purpose.
He wass presiding over a meeting regarding recruitment process for different vacant PBS 1 to 15 posts in the district. The deputy commissioner said 5 percent qouta for women, 5 percent quota for minorities and 2 percent quota for special persons would be strictly implemented while providing jobs to the eligible candidates.
He directed all the officers of different departments to convene meetings of departmental promotion committees and promote all eligible employees within 15 days and submit detailed vacancies report to this office so that the recruitment process could be initiated without any delay.
Sayed Mehdi Ali Shah said after receiving vacancies details advertisement for the vacant posts would be published in newspapers and it would also be placed on Sindh Rozgar Scheme's website for information of eligible candidates.
He assured that transparent recruitment process would be initiated and jobs would be provided purely on merit. He made it clear that in education department only non teaching jobs would be provided through district recruitment committees.
