Govt To Take Up Release Of Pakistani Prisoners Detained Abroad: Ajmal Wazir

The spokesman of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government Ajmal Wazir Tuesday said that the government would take all possible steps for release of Pakistani prisoners languishing in jails abroad.
Pakistan government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan would not allow any excess with Pakistani nationals anywhere in the world, he said.
Talking to relatives protesting for the release of prisoners held in Oman, here in front of Peshawar Press Club Ajmal Wazir said that many Pakistanis adopt illegal means and travel abroad on fake documents due to which the government faces difficulties to trace their identification and take up issue with the respective governments.
He said that he had left an important meeting as soon as he learnt that protest was being held for release of detained Pakistani in a foreign country. He assured the relatives that he would take up the issue with the foreign minister for prompt action and for making arrangement for treatment of sick Pakistani prisoners abroad.
The Government spokesman urged the protesters to endtheir protest as now the government would pursue their issue.
