RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Dec, 2017 ) :Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) have started developing a green belt along Nullah Lai whereas the project is funded by PHA. Talking to APP, Director Horticulture PHA Sheikh Tariq said the authority has four kanals of land along Nullah Lae which is being developed for the project.
He said the project comprises a green area where proper plantation is going on to make the area more attractive for citizens as a recreational site. Proper benches and swings are also being installed whereas the project is about to complete and would soon be inaugurated , he informed.
Tariq said PHA has aimed at making the city green and Eco-friendly. It is now the responsibility of the citizens to cooperate with the authority in securing various parks and recreational sites of the city.
He said the citizens should also realize their responsibility as well to keep the public parks clean and do not damage any public property. He said PHA has remained successful since its creation. The well-maintained parks, green belts and roads of the city are its proof, he added.
