JI Demands Immediate Release Of Salaries, Fire Risk Allowance To KMC Employees

The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has demanded the authorities concerned of Karachi Meteopolitan Corporation (KMC) to ensure immediate release of the salaries of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) doctors and Fire Brigade employees

KARACHI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 21st March, 2019) The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has demanded the authorities concerned of Karachi Meteopolitan Corporation (KMC) to ensure immediate release of the salaries of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) doctors and Fire Brigade employees.In a statement here, Hafiz Naeem was expressed his deep concern over non-payment of salaries and fire risk allowance to the ASH doctors and fire brigade employees.He feared that both the institutions have great importance and if the employees of those institutions may go for strike and any emergent situation would be created, so who would be responsible? Hafiz Naeem questioned.He said that the performance of KMC is being bad to worst by every passing day due to escalating corruption in the different departments; adding that the salaries of the employees are allocated in every fiscal year.

"When the salaries of the employees had been alloacted already in every budget, so why; the employees of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and Fire Brigade depatment are deprived of their basic rights", Hafiz Naeem asked.He further said that the Mayor-KMC during his visit to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, last week, ordered that the salaries of ASH's doctors and paramedics staff should be released immediately; however, despite their protest; the salaries of the employees are not yet released.Hafiz Naeem further said that the Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar is often expressing his deep reservations over lack of administrative powers; however, he has failed to deliver the masses within the available resources of KMC.
