He requested that Dr Adnan and Maryam Nawaz Sharif should be granted immediate acccess to Mian Nawaz Sharif on health grounds. The letter asked to give permission to Maryam Nawaz and Dr Adnan to meet him, saying that it was essential for them to meet Nawaz Sharif because of his poor health condition.
It said some medical tests of the patient were immediately required."Nawaz Sharif has complaint of cardio pain on daily basis," it said adding that barring the doctor from meeting him would amount to denying basic rights to him.On March 20, Information Minister Punjab, Samsam Bukhari, had said the government never stopped family of Nawaz Sharif from meeting him in jail.Bukhari had said the manual of jail was strictly being implemented.
He had said Nawaz Sharif was trying to pressurise the government to move out of country. "In the last two weeks, Sharif met his numerous friends and as well as the family members," the minister had said. He, however, had added that the permission to go abroad could only be given by the court. NNI
