Minister Visits RMT, Reviews Development Work

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Local Government and Rural Development (LG&RD), Shahram Khan Tarakai Monday visited Regi Model Town (RMT) and reviewed ongoing development work on the project.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Dec, 2018 ) :Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Local Government and Rural Development (LG&RD), Shahram Khan Tarakai Monday visited Regi Model Town (RMT) and reviewed ongoing development work on the project.

During the visit, the minister was given briefing on state of the art constructed New Model Police Station at Regi Town, Central Park and other important matters.

Director General (DG) Peshawar Development Authority (PDA), Israr-ul-Haq and other officials of the authority were also present on the occasion.

In the briefing the provincial minister for local government and rural development was informed that 200 kanals of land has been allocated for the Central Park of the Regi Model Town out of which 100 kanals land had already been converted into park while work on the remaining part is in progress.

For sitting in the park bench, flowers, plants and gross a jogging track had also been presented for walk. Similarly, all facilities are also provided in the Model Police Station.

Speaking on the occasion, the provincial minister said that a comprehensive plan for the development of Peshawar city and residential colonies was being prepared, which would minimize the problems of the residents and they get opportunity of taking benefits of these facilities.

During the visit, the residents of the town also briefed the minister regarding their problems on which he directed the resolution of their problems on priority basis.

On this occasion, the local elites of Regi Model Town thanked the provincial minister for conducting visit and hearing their problems.
