Over 7,000 children to be administered anti-polio drops in AJK

ISLAMABAD, Dec 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Dec, 2018 ) :In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, over 700,000 children up to five years of age would be administered anti polio drops in all ten districts of the state.

Coordinator EPI, Dr. Bushra Shams told Radio Pakistan that 2219 mobile teams had been constituted while 421 fixed centers and 152 transit points established for this purpose.

Control rooms had also been setup at deputy commissioner offices at all the ten districts of AJK.

A central control room has been setup in Muzaffarabad.

Moreover, World Health Organization and Federal EPI Cell Islamabad will also monitor the polio campaign.
