Risalpur police busted an inter-provincial gang of narcotics smugglers by seizing a huge quantity of heroin from a van in Nowshera district

PESHAWAR, Sept 20 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2017 ) : Risalpur police busted an inter-provincial gang of narcotics smugglers by seizing a huge quantity of heroin from a van in Nowshera district.

Police said on a tip off that huge quantity of narcotics would be smuggled out from an unsettled area to Mardan and later to Punjab through Motorway, Risalpur police was alerted to frustrate the bid.

Meanwhile, A Suzuki van bearing registration NO MNT-8847 was appeared on Risalpur Double Pattak, which was searched, lead to recovery of six kilogram heroin of a fine quality from its CNG tank. Police arrested the smuggler, Saifullah Khan, resident of Charsadda and started further investigation. APP/fam/ffr
